“A Line Intersected” wins Honorable Mention at the Hollywood Book Festival!

The 2018 Hollywood Book Festival announced its winners today, and I’m pleased to have been awarded a Honorable Mention for General Fiction for my noir mystery “A Line Intersected.” The Grand Prize Winner was author David Wienir’s  “Amsterdam Exposed: An American’s Journey Into The Red Light District” (De Wallen Press).

The Hollywood Book Festival celebrates “books that deserve greater recognition from the film, television, game and multimedia communities.” It receives thousands of entries each year from authors hoping to earn a movie and television deal. Maybe I’ll get lucky enough for that, who knows?

Meanwhile, it’s always nice to be recognized, and I’m happy to have made the cut. That’s the third award in 2 months for “A Line Intersected,” which for a debut novel is pretty gratifying
